Yes. At least third-party insurance is legally required. Comprehensive insurance is recommended for newer or higher-value vehicles.

  • MTA6 Form (Transfer Application)

  • Certificate of Registration

  • NIC copies of buyer and seller

  • Duly signed and certified transfer documents

  • Emission test + Revenue license (valid)

  1. Unregistered Imports: Subject to import duty, excise, VAT, Luxury Tax (depends on engine capacity CC), etc.
  2. Registered Vehicles: No duty, but transfer fees and stamp duty apply.
